You choose the level of involvement that suits you and your budget. The pre-planning stage of a project is vital so we spend time pulling together the most appropriate construction professionals to design and get your project through the planning procedures. We call this constructing the team. Once the stage 1 design is completed we will go out to tender or negotiate with a contractor and  associated trades that we have established during stage 1 have  the capability and time to dedicate to your project. Once works start on site we control and manage the project from start to completion and ongoing maintenance.

We have developed 3 service levels which can all be fine tuned to suit you. These range from a basic helping hand to get you started, right up to a comprehensive and personalised Project Management service. You can find more details here.

We would be on site as much as you would like us to be. In most instances, the fee agreement includes weekly informal site visits, and bi-weekly formal fully minuted meetings. However, some clients want us on site twice a week and others once a fortnight or even once a month. We are totally flexible according to the size of the project.

We are always fully contactable. Remember, we are on your side and are there to support you at all times.

We can help you with this aspect if this is what you require. There are many challenges when selecting architects, structural engineers and builders, as well as many potential pitfalls. We have a thorough understanding of the type of professionals and contractors that would be appropriate to your project and can make recommendations on this along with the right type of contract to use.

When you appoint us to manage your project we work with you the interview and appoint the full professional team as well as the main contractor. All parties are approved by you prior to their appointment. We will liaise closely with you and issue instructions as necessary.

Due to our knowledge we would identify the need for specialists such as party wall surveyors, structural engineers, building surveyors, arboriculturists etc. From a review of your project we would advise on any specialists required.

There is no set price – when we meet with you, we will discuss your requirements and prepare a fee agreement accordingly. Our project management contract is direct with you. We set up and arrange contracts between you and the professional teams and you pay them direct.

We are there to protect your interests and to make sure all team members are acting in accordance with their appointment and for the good of the project. Contractors may tell you they will have a project manager on site but remember that that person will be acting for the contractor. Our aim is to protect you and look after your best interests, saving you time and money in the long run.

We are skilled contract administrators so our over-arching aim is for the project to be delivered on time and on budget.

This depends entirely on your own circumstances but you should be aware that running a project is exceptionally time consuming. Ask yourself how much time do you have when you are juggling the demands of daily life. Perhaps even more relevant is whether you have any previous experience of managing a complex building project or contracts? This is an area which can be fraught with the sort of difficulties that a professional project manager deals with on a daily basis. So too the ability to manage projects according to a set or tight budget.

Of course. We have relationships with excellent suppliers of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms as well as external service providers including landscapers and garden designers. Our sister companies offer consultancy, design and installation of smart home technology and security systems. And once your project is completed our buildings management division will manage and maintain it to keep it operating at peak performance.
